What the EMF experts have to say about our infrared saunas

The reality of having technology at our fingertips, from mobile phones to microwaves, is that they are fuelled by electromagnetic energy. In many ways, electromagnetic fields (EMF's) have become part and parcel of modern life.

At Sunlighten, we know that many of our customers are concerned about EMF exposure, and so are we. Because, while we love the detoxifying power of a good sweat, we don’t want our customers to ‘sweat’ unnecessarily. That’s why we’ve brought in world-renowned EMF research experts – Vitatech Electromagnetics – to test our saunas and give you the peace of mind you deserve.  MKT Team – this is a repeat of the first paragraph.  Please remove from “the reality of having technology to peace of mind you deserve”

Since our beginning, Sunlighten has been committed to the highest standards of safety in our Infrared saunas. Not only have we studied, learned and tested our products rigorously, but we’ve made continual improvements over the last 20 years in line with the latest research and evidence. Over the past few years, as we as a society have come to understand more about EMFs, we knew it was time to bring in the experts to certify that our saunas minimise and mitigate EMF levels as much as possible, giving our customers a premium and safe experience.

Vitatech Electromagnetics are world-renowned engineers, setting the standard for EMF research, testing and safety for almost three decades. Using their industry-leading testing equipment and standardised testing process to give the most precise results, we invited Vitatech to put our saunas through their paces so that you could feel comfortable and confident with your purchase.

Before we dive into the results, it’s useful to know that the strength of EMFs are measured in ‘mG’ or milliGauss units. Whether you realise it or not, many of the items around the home that you use every day emit EMFs, from your toaster (3 to 70 mG) to your hair dryer (60 to 200 mG) and even your blender (200 to 1,200 mG). Accordingly, Vitatech has set the industry standard of 10mG or less as ‘ultra low.’

VitaTech's conclusion: Sunlighten saunas are completely safe, measuring an average EMF of 0.5mG - lower than 95 percent of common household devices and a whopping 20 times lower than the industry standard of an 'ultra low EMF reading’ of 10mG.

These results independently validate that Sunlighten Infrared Saunas are safe and effective, results that have been achieved through the tireless efforts of our research and development teams who consistently deliver market-leading breakthrough technologies, including the mPulse infrared sauna range. Our goal will always be to deliver the safest and most effective infrared sauna technology, and by investing in third party testing, we are dedicated to achieving this goal.

We are pleased to share with our loyal customers the outstanding EMF testing results on the Sunlighten Infrared sauna range and we hope these results give you the clarity and confidence to enjoy your Sunlighten infrared sauna session without compromise.
